Server Management Guide

This guide helps server owners and administrators effectively manage their servers. It aims to create a respectful, honest, and inclusive environment that balances seriousness with fun in the Futubull community.

1. Create Rules

• Server owners and administrators should create rules specific to their servers while adhering to the Futubull Community General Management Rules.
• Consider creating an announcement channel to clearly display these rules for everyone.

2. Management Tools

Server owners and administrators are responsible for managing member activity within the server. Here are tools to help:

2.1 Unsend Messages

• Purpose: To remove inappropriate messages visible to everyone.
• Steps: Press and hold the message, then select Unsend. Only messages within 7 days can be removed.
• Tip: Consider explaining the reason to the involved member privately after removing a message.

2.2 Mute Members

• Purpose: Temporarily restrict members who have violated community rules from sending messages.
• Steps: Go to the Server Members page, swipe left on the member's name, and select Mute.
• Duration: The mute can last for 10 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day.
• Tip: Clearly specify the violated rule and the duration of the mute to the member.
• Note: Optionally, you can unmute the member before the set duration ends if necessary.

2.3 Block Members

• Purpose: Remove members who repeatedly violate rules or cause conflicts, and prevent them from rejoining the server.
• Steps: Go to the Server Members page, swipe left on the member's name, and select Block.
• Tip: Always give warnings first, and keep evidence of any incidents.
• Note: Members can be unblocked later via the Server Settings page.

3. Management Principles

Server owners or administrators do more than just enforce rules. They also shape the community culture. When managing servers, they should adhere to the following principles:
