The Top 10 Brokers by Net Buying/Selling data helps investors assess institutional investors’ views on the market outlook and analyze counterparties’ trading activity.

Path: Select a HK stock > Analysis > Top 10 Net Buying/Selling Brokers

Here, you can view real-time data and data from the past 1 to 60 trading days for the top 10 brokers, providing a useful reference for both short-term traders and long-term investors.

Real-time data is estimated based on the stock’s tick-by-tick transaction details and bid/ask broker data for the current trading day. Data for the most recent N trading days is calculated as follows:

Net buying volume = Holdings on the current trading day − Holdings N trading days ago
Net selling volume = Holdings N trading days ago − Holdings on the current trading day

b. Broker Holding Percentage

Broker holding percentages may, to a certain extent, reflect institutional investors’ views on the stock’s future price performance. You can find this information via the following path:

The broker holding percentage is calculated as follows:

Broker holding percentage = Number of shares held by the broker ÷ Number of shares outstanding
